Associate / Senior Associate - Private Client
London | 2-6 PQE
We are instructed by a leading UK law firm with a strong international footprint that is continuing to expand its Private Client practice in London. The firm is seeking a talented Associate or Senior Associate (2-6 PQE) to join a highly regarded team advising clients with complex, cross-border personal and family wealth needs.
This role offers exposure to a high-quality, international private client caseload, acting for individuals and families with global connections. The work is intellectually stimulating and varied, and would suit a solicitor who enjoys technical depth, strategic thinking and client-facing responsibility.
In this position, you will advise on a broad range of private client and tax matters, including pre-immigration tax planning and the statutory residence test, estate and succession planning for internationally mobile individuals, and the structuring of global assets for families with complex personal and commercial interests. You will also work on offshore trust structures, family governance arrangements, and UK tax treatment of investments, including property-holding and other onshore and offshore vehicles. The team takes a genuinely holistic approach, often working closely with colleagues in corporate, real estate and family law to deliver joined-up advice.
The role also carries an important business development and profile-building element. You will be encouraged to contribute to marketing initiatives, client relationship development and the continued growth of the London private client offering, with support from senior lawyers and an established national platform.
The wider Private Client team operates nationally and is well known for its technical strength, collaborative culture and ability to deliver complex advice in a clear and pragmatic way. The London team is particularly well embedded within the firm's broader international and cross-practice offering, making this an excellent environment for lawyers who want to build long-term careers in sophisticated private client work.
The firm offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, together with genuine investment in training, development and wellbeing. Flexible working is supported, and the culture is inclusive, collegiate and people-focused. Pre-employment screening will form part of any offer process, in line with regulatory and firm-wide standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a private client solicitor looking to take the next step within a top-tier, forward-thinking practice, offering both high-calibre work and a supportive environment in which to progress.
