Private Client Partner | Maidenhead
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a highly regarded Legal 500-ranked Private Client team as a Senior Associate or Partner.
This is a rare opportunity to take on a key leadership role within an ambitious and progressive law firm, working alongside high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and trustees across the Thames Valley.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading and developing the Maidenhead-based Private Client team while helping to shape the future growth and strategic direction of the wider department. This position offers genuine autonomy, high-quality work, and a clear platform for progression and influence.
The Opportunity
You will manage a broad and complex caseload, including:
- Wills, probate, and estate administration matters
- Trust creation, administration, and succession planning
- Inheritance tax and estate planning advice
- Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters
- Advising high-net-worth individuals, families, trustees, and business owners on wealth preservation and succession planning
In addition, you will:
- Lead, mentor, and develop junior lawyers and support staff
- Assist with the strategic growth and development of the Private Client team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional referrers
- Contribute to business development and networking activities
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional client service and technical excellence
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- 8+ years' PQE within Private Client law
- Strong technical expertise in wills, trusts, estate administration, and inheritance tax planning
- Experience advising high-net-worth individuals and managing complex estates
- STEP qualification, or be working towards accreditation
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- A commercial and proactive approach to client relationship management and business development
