Corporate Solicitor (3 PQE)
London
Salary: £100,000
A highly regarded London law firm is seeking a Corporate Solicitor with around 3 years' post-qualification experience to join its established Corporate team.
The Firm
The firm is widely recognised for its genuinely positive, inclusive and collaborative culture across all teams. It places a strong emphasis on work-life balance, with a sustainable approach to workloads, realistic expectations and a high level of partner support. The firm is committed to long-term career development, offering high-quality work without the long-hours culture often associated with corporate roles.
The Corporate practice advises a high-quality and varied client base, including private companies, entrepreneurs, family offices, charities and other not-for-profit organisations. The team is known for delivering technically excellent, pragmatic advice while maintaining long-standing and trusted client relationships.
The Role
The successful candidate will advise on a broad range of corporate matters, including:
-
Mergers and acquisitions
-
Corporate restructurings and reorganisations
-
Shareholder and investment agreements
-
Corporate governance and general advisory work
-
General company law matters
The role offers early responsibility, meaningful client contact and close collaboration with partners and colleagues across the firm, including specialists in private wealth, tax, employment and charities.
The Candidate
Applicants should:
-
Be qualified in England & Wales with approximately 3 years' PQE in corporate law
-
Have strong technical skills and experience across corporate transactions
-
Be commercially aware, pragmatic and client-focused
-
Demonstrate excellent drafting and communication skills
-
Enjoy working collaboratively within a supportive and collegiate environment
Experience advising private companies, owner-managed businesses or charities would be advantageous, but is not essential.
Please apply as directed or confidentially contact Rowan Hemblade at Henderson Scott for more information. Alternatively, if this role is not for you, I am working a variety of other construction roles with ranked teams in the City of London so would be interested to talk to any corporate lawyer.
