A well-established and highly regarded Yorkshire firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Private Client Lawyer to join its growing team in York. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor or an experienced practitioner looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will manage a varied private client caseload, advising individuals and families on matters including Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts and Tax Planning. This role offers the opportunity to build long-term client relationships while working alongside experienced private client professionals.

The Role

• Manage a diverse private client caseload from instruction through to completion.
• Draft Wills, LPAs, Trust documentation and Probate applications.
• Handle estate administration matters, including investigating assets and liabilities and preparing HMRC submissions.
• Deliver clear, practical and sensitive advice to clients during significant life events.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor, CILEX Lawyer or other authorised legal professional.
• Newly Qualified and above, with experience handling private client matters.
• Strong technical knowledge across wills, probate and estate administration.
