Residential Property Solicitor / Legal Executive

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a highly regarded Residential Development team within a leading commercial law firm. This role offers the chance to work alongside experienced property specialists acting for a diverse client base that includes housebuilders, developers, landowners and investors.
The successful candidate will be involved in high-quality residential development work, advising on complex land transactions and supporting projects from acquisition through to development and disposal.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

• Advising housebuilders, developers and landowners on residential development matters.
• Managing acquisitions and disposals of development land.
• Drafting and negotiating option agreements, conditional contracts and promotion agreements.
• Conducting title investigations and due diligence exercises.
• Assisting with site assembly and strategic land transactions.
• Advising on easements, covenants, rights of way and title-related issues.
• Liaising with planning consultants, surveyors, local authorities and other professional advisers.
• Supporting clients through all stages of the development lifecycle.
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Contributing to networking and business development activities.

About you

• Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or equivalent legal professional.
• Experience within residential property, residential development or commercial property.
• Strong understanding of property law and land transactions.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
