About this role

A Top 100 London law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Senior Associate to join its property practice.

This is an opportunity best suited to a technically strong lawyer looking to work on high-quality residential matters for a sophisticated client base, while playing an active role in the continued growth of the team.

The Opportunity

You'll advise a broad range of clients including high-net-worth individuals, families, trustees, investors and property owners on a variety of residential property matters, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • High-value residential transactions
  • Remortgages and refinancing
  • Lease extensions and enfranchisement
  • Complex title, covenant and property structuring issues
  • Time-sensitive and technically challenging matters

The team is known for delivering practical, commercially focused advice and works closely with colleagues across private client, tax and dispute resolution to provide a seamless service to clients.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a full residential property caseload from instruction through to completion
  • Advising clients directly and building long-term relationships
  • Handling complex and high-value transactions with minimal supervision
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and support staff
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm
  • Supporting business development initiatives and helping to grow the practice
  • Building relationships with agents, lenders, brokers and other professional referrers

About You

Applications are welcomed from Residential Property Solicitors with:

  • Significant experience (5+PQE) handling residential conveyancing matters independently
  • Strong technical expertise across freehold and leasehold transactions
  • Experience dealing with high-value or complex residential property matters
  • A commercial and client-focused approach
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • An interest in business development and practice growth
