The Team

This leading Residential Property team advises high-net-worth individuals, investors, lenders, private banks and corporate clients on a wide range of residential property transactions across London and the wider UK market.

The team is recognised for providing commercially focused advice on complex and high-value residential matters, working closely with colleagues across the firm's Private Wealth, Real Estate, Banking and Tax practices. The London team continues to experience sustained growth and is seeking an ambitious Senior Associate to support its residential property offering.


The Opportunity

The successful candidate will manage a broad range of high-value residential property matters, acting for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, investors, private banks and other stakeholders. The role offers significant client contact, opportunities for business development and the chance to contribute to the continued growth of a market-leading residential property practice.


Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of high-value residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
  • Advising on freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals.
  • Acting on Prime Central London and other high-net-worth residential matters.
  • Advising on refinance, secured lending and private banking transactions connected with residential property assets.
  • Reviewing and negotiating ancillary transaction documentation.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, introducers and professional advisers.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider Real Estate, Private Wealth and Banking teams.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within the team.
  • Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to the growth of the practice.

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 4+ years' PQE.
  • Have strong experience gained within a recognised residential property practice.
  • Demonstrate expertise in acting for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
  • Have experience dealing with complex residential acquisitions, disposals and refinancing matters.
  • Be confident managing client relationships and transactions with minimal supervision.
  • Possess excellent communication, drafting and organisational skills.
  • Have a proactive and commercial approach to problem solving.
  • Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
