Professional Indemnity & Coverage Solicitor

Our client, a highly regarded specialist disputes practice in the City, is seeking a Solicitor with 8+ PQE to join its growing Professional Indemnity & Coverage team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance lawyer looking to combine high-quality technical work with direct client exposure and a genuine route to partnership.

The Role

The successful candidate will handle a broad range of matters, including:

• Professional indemnity
• Insurance coverage and policy response advice
• Financial lines claims
• Broker negligence disputes
• Defence of claims
• Coverage disputes for insurers
• Recovery actions and strategic claims advice

Candidate Requirements

• 8+ PQE with strong professional indemnity experience
• Expertise in coverage, policy interpretation and indemnity issues
• Exposure to financial lines and insurer-side disputes
• Experience advising insurers, brokers and insureds
• Strong understanding of policy response and defence strategy
• Ability to manage complex claims and insurer relationships independently
• Experience supervising junior lawyers and contributing to team growth
