The Opportunity

This is an opportunity for a Residential Property Associate (1-5 PQE) to join one of London's leading private client-focused law firms.

The firm is widely recognised for advising high-net-worth individuals, families, family offices, financial institutions, educational organisations and charities on complex legal matters. Renowned for its technical excellence and outstanding client service, the firm consistently advises on some of the most sophisticated residential property transactions in the London market.

The Residential Property team is ranked at the highest levels by both Chambers and Legal 500 and acts on a broad range of high-value and complex transactions, often involving international elements, bespoke financing arrangements, tax structuring considerations and ultra-high-net-worth clients.

This role offers exposure to premium-quality work within a collaborative and highly regarded team environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will work across a broad range of residential property and secured lending matters, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and acquisitions
  • High-value residential conveyancing transactions
  • Property refinancing and secured lending matters
  • Acting for private banks and lenders on security arrangements
  • Leasehold and title-related issues
  • Residential property management matters
  • General property advisory work
  • Liaising directly with clients, agents, lenders and professional advisers

Many transactions involve complex structures, high-value assets and demanding clients, providing excellent exposure for an ambitious lawyer looking to further develop their technical expertise.

Candidate Requirements

Applications are welcomed from qualified solicitors with between 1 and 5 years' PQE who have gained experience within a top ranked residential property practice.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Solid experience handling residential conveyancing matters
  • Exposure to secured lending transactions
  • Strong technical ability and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • The ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
  • A commercial and pragmatic approach to legal advice
  • Strong organisational and matter management skills
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to business development
  • A genuine desire to progress their career within a leading residential property team
