About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Solicitor with 5+ years PQE to join a highly regarded and growing Family Law team.
This role offers the chance to work on a high-quality caseload of privately funded family matters while collaborating with experienced colleagues in a supportive and progressive environment. You'll be joining a team recognised for its technical expertise, client care and commitment to delivering outstanding legal services.
The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of private family law matters, providing practical, strategic and compassionate advice to clients throughout their legal journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing privately funded matrimonial finance matters.
- Divorce and financial remedy cases.
- Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements.
- Cohabitation disputes.
- Private children matters.
- Delivering exceptional client care and maintaining high professional standards.
- Working collaboratively across multiple office locations.
- Supporting the continued growth and success of the Family department.
- Mentoring junior colleagues and working alongside senior lawyers.
- Contributing to business development and networking activities.
About You
We're looking for a solicitor who has:
- A minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in Family Law.
- Strong technical expertise across matrimonial finance, divorce and private children work.
- Experience advising on cohabitation and family financial matters.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A compassionate and client-focused approach.
- The ability to manage a busy caseload independently while working collaboratively within a team.
- Resolution Accreditation (essential).
- Advanced Resolution or Law Society accreditations (desirable).
- Business development experience (preferred).
