A highly regarded, Legal 500-ranked South Coast law firm is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join its growing Bournemouth office.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and commercially minded Family lawyer to take a leading role within the firm's Bournemouth family law offering. Working as the key family law specialist in the office, you will have the autonomy to develop your own practice while benefiting from the support, resources and reputation of a successful and expanding regional firm.

The Role

You will handle a broad range of privately funded family law matters, including:

• Divorce and separation
• Financial remedy proceedings
• Private children matters
• Cohabitation disputes
• Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
• General matrimonial and family law advisory work

The role offers significant scope for business development and networking, with the successful candidate playing a key role in growing the firm's family law presence across Bournemouth and the wider Dorset market.

You will also have the opportunity to undertake your own advocacy where appropriate and build long-term relationships with clients, professional referrers and local contacts.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with ideally 5+ years' PQE in Family Law
• Strong experience handling a broad private family law caseload
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own matters
• Excellent communication, client care and advocacy skills
• Commercially aware with a genuine interest in business development
• Ability to build and maintain referrer and client relationships
• Ambitious and motivated to grow a successful practice
• Family mediation experience would be advantageous but is not essential
