I'm working with a well‑established London law firm seeking a Residential Property Solicitor (5-7 PQE) to join its residential property team as part of its continued growth.
This opportunity will particularly suit a solicitor who has trained and developed within an established, high‑quality firm and is now looking for their next step - offering greater responsibility, clear progression, and the chance to play a visible role in a growing practice.
The successful candidate will manage a varied, high‑quality caseload, work closely with high‑profile clients, and contribute meaningfully to the ongoing success of a well‑respected residential property team. The firm has ambitious plans to grow over the next few years, and this hire will be an important part of that journey.
The Role
In this position, you will:
- Manage a diverse caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion
- Advise clients on sales, purchases, remortgages, and related residential property matters
- Ensure full compliance with SRA and CQS requirements, maintaining the highest standards of quality and client care
- Build, develop, and maintain strong client and referrer relationships
- Take an active and visible role in business development, including networking, attending events, and supporting the firm's growth initiatives
About You
You will have:
- Solid experience in residential property law (ideally 5+ years' PQE)
- Experience gained within a reputable, well-regarded law firm, and a clear desire to progress
- Confidence and enthusiasm for business development and being active in the
- Excellent attention to detail and strong client‑facing communication skills
- The ability to manage competing deadlines in a busy environment
- Strong IT and case?management skills
- A proactive, commercial, and collaborative approach
Remuneration & Benefits
- Salary: c.£80,000
