A leading law firm is seeking a talented Corporate Tax Associate or Senior Associate to join its highly regarded London tax practice.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad spectrum of high-quality transactional and advisory tax matters across a range of sectors and asset classes. The team acts on complex domestic and cross-border transactions, working closely with market-leading corporate, private capital, real estate, finance and infrastructure practices.

The successful candidate will benefit from significant client exposure, early responsibility and the opportunity to develop within a collaborative and growing team.

You will advise clients on a wide variety of tax matters arising from:

• M&A and corporate transactions

• Private equity and private capital investments

• Joint ventures and strategic investments

• Real estate and infrastructure transactions

• Cross-border structuring and transactional matters

• General transactional and advisory tax work

The team is looking for a lawyer who enjoys working across different areas of tax rather than specialising exclusively in one discipline.

Applications are sought from lawyers with:

• Approximately 3-6 years' PQE

• Training and post-qualification experience gained at a recognised law firm

• Strong transactional tax experience across a broad range of matters

• Experience advising on UK and international tax issues

• Excellent technical drafting and analytical skills

• Strong communication, project management and client-facing abilities

• An interest in business development and building client relationships

Candidates with experience in any of the following will be of particular interest:

• Funds tax

• Private capital and private equity transactions

• Real estate and infrastructure investments

• Investment fund structuring
