Senior Associate / Legal Director - Employment | London / Watford

The Role
You will take on a senior, visible position within the team, with responsibility for a broad range of employment matters:
- Advising on a full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious employment law issues
- Leading on employment tribunal litigation, including complex and high-value claims
- Supporting clients on restructuring, redundancies, TUPE and organisational change
- Acting as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders and HR teams
- Handling sensitive matters including discrimination, whistleblowing and industrial relations
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of employment contracts, policies and agreements
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within the team
Client Base
You will work with a diverse and loyal client base, including:
- Education institutions (schools, academies and universities)
- Healthcare and public sector organisations
- Charities and not-for-profits
- Commercial clients across a range of sectors
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 5+ PQE in employment law
- Strong experience across both contentious and advisory work
- Ideally some exposure to education, health or public sector clients
- Proven ability to lead matters and manage client relationships independently
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style
- Willingness to work across London and Watford offices
