Location: Portsmouth
Experience: 0-3 PQE
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Full Remuneration Package: £45,000-£60,000 DOE

A well-established and highly regarded Hampshire law firm is seeking a Conveyancing Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer to join its growing Residential Property team in Portsmouth.

This opportunity has arisen due to continued growth within the department, driven by strong relationships with local estate agents, a loyal client base, and an excellent reputation across the region. The successful candidate will join a supportive and collaborative team handling a busy and varied caseload.

The Role

You will manage your own residential property caseload, handling matters from instruction through to completion, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Residential conveyancing transactions
  • Landlord and tenant matters
  • Re-mortgages and transfers of equity
  • Supporting clients through more complex conveyancing matters
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the transaction process

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
  • 0-3 years PQE within residential conveyancing
  • Experience managing or assisting with a conveyancing caseload
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Able to work independently whilst contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Client-focused with a professional and proactive approach
  • Keen to develop their career within a growing and reputable practice
