Salary: £48,000-£75,000 DOE
Working Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days in office / 2 days from home
A well-established and highly regarded regional law firm is looking to appoint a Residential Property Lawyer to join its established team in Salisbury.
This is an excellent opportunity for a residential conveyancer looking to join a firm with deep roots across the South and a strong commitment to its clients, people and local communities.
The Residential Property team takes a proactive and client-focused approach, using technology to provide a smooth and efficient service while ensuring clients remain informed throughout their transaction.
The Role
You will handle a varied residential property caseload, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Residential conveyancing transactions
- First-time buyer matters
- Remortgages
- Transfer of equity
- Leasehold transactions
- Residential property investment
- Landlord and tenant matters
- Property-related disputes
- Dealing with lenders and third parties
- Managing transactions from instruction through to completion
You will also:
- Manage your own caseload and transactions
- Provide clear and practical advice to clients
- Maintain regular communication throughout the conveyancing process
- Build strong and lasting client relationships
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm
- Use technology effectively to deliver an efficient client service
- Contribute to the continued success and development of the Residential Property team
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working within Residential Property / Conveyancing
- The ability to manage a caseload independently, appropriate to level of experience
- Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage competing deadlines effectively
- A proactive and commercially minded approach
- Confidence dealing with clients, lenders and other third parties
- A collaborative approach to working within a team
