An opportunity has arisen to join the market-leading Real Estate Finance team of a Top 20 UK law firm. The team advises a broad range of lenders and borrowers on complex domestic and cross-border real estate finance transactions across all major asset classes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with at least 1 year's PQE and experience in real estate finance to join a highly regarded practice known for the quality and breadth of its work.

The Role

You will work closely with leading partners and experienced finance lawyers on a wide range of transactions, including:

• Investment and acquisition finance
• Development finance
• Mezzanine finance
• Islamic finance
• Refinancings and restructurings
• Cross-border real estate finance transactions

The team acts for major banks, debt funds, insurers and other financial institutions, as well as investors, developers, family offices and property companies. Matters span a variety of sectors including hotels and leisure, student accommodation, PRS, logistics and office assets.

About You

• Qualified solicitor with at least 1 year's PQE
• Experience gained within a recognised real estate finance or banking practice
• Strong academic record
• Strong drafting and technical skills
• Commercially minded with excellent attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple transactions and deadlines effectively
• Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
• Collaborative approach and enthusiasm for business development
