Overview
Join a tier 1 Legal 500 firm for Commercial Property as a Commercial Property Senior Associate/Associate Director, where you will lead on high-value real estate transactions across investment, development, asset management, and real estate finance matters. You will be part of a leading Central London practice within a wider international platform, working closely with partners and senior stakeholders on complex, cross-border deals. This role offers significant autonomy, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to take ownership of sophisticated mandates while shaping client outcomes at a senior level within a collaborative and high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex commercial real estate transactions from inception to completion, including acquisitions, disposals, development projects, asset management, and real estate financing matters.
- Advise PLCs, institutional investors, developers, and major corporates on legal and commercial risk, drafting and negotiating high-value transactional documentation.
- Oversee due diligence processes on large-scale and often multi-jurisdictional deals, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and clear reporting of key issues.
- Work closely with internal teams including corporate, tax, construction, and finance to deliver integrated, commercially focused advice on complex matters.
- Contribute to client relationship management, business development activity, and mentoring junior lawyers within a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- England & Wales qualified solicitor with strong experience at Senior Associate or Associate Director level in commercial real estate.
- Proven track record in investment acquisitions and disposals, with additional experience in asset management, real estate finance, and exposure to development work.
- Strong technical expertise in real estate law, with excellent drafting, negotiation, and matter leadership skills on high-value transactions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships with PLCs, institutional investors, developers, and major corporates.
- Commercially minded, proactive, and confident working independently while contributing to a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
