About this role

We're looking for an experienced Catastrophic Injury Solicitor (Spinal Injury) to join a specialist claimant team in London. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of complex, high-value spinal and catastrophic injury cases, working in a supportive, collaborative environment where client care and professional development are equally valued. You'll have the autonomy to lead cases, contribute to team strategy, and make a real difference to clients' lives, all while being part of a firm that invests in its people and promotes from within.

The Role:

  • Take ownership of a varied caseload of catastrophic and spinal injury claims, shaping case strategy and driving outcomes.
  • Lead pleadings, gather and manage evidence, work with medical and technical experts, and negotiate high-value, multi-track matters.
  • Be a senior point of contact for clients, colleagues, and external partners, helping guide best practice across the team.
  • Use the firm's case management systems and tools to keep cases on track and ensure consistent, high-quality work.
  • Contribute to wider team initiatives, including business development and projects that help the team grow and improve.

About You:

  • A qualified Solicitor with 3 to 6 years' experience handling serious or catastrophic injury claims.
  • Comfortable managing complex, high-value cases independently while exercising sound strategic judgment.
  • Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules, litigation strategy, and expert management.
  • Able to mentor junior colleagues, work collaboratively across teams, and build trusted relationships internally and externally.
  • Client-focused with clear communication skills and a genuine commitment to delivering excellent outcomes.

Team & Environment:

  • Join a specialist claimant team known for its technical expertise, supportive culture, and collaborative approach.
  • Work alongside colleagues specialising in spinal, brain, and serious injury cases, sharing knowledge and best practice.
  • Enjoy a people-first environment where flexibility, professional development, and wellbeing are genuinely prioritised.

What's In It For You:

  • Competitive salary, full-time permanent role, London-based with hybrid working options.
  • Access to leadership and management training, clear progression pathways, and opportunities to influence team strategy.
  • Comprehensive benefits, including medical, pension, and wellbeing support, plus regular social and networking events.
  • The autonomy to take charge of your caseload, make strategic decisions, and work on impactful, high-value cases.
