Senior Residential Property Solicitor
This is an opportunity to make a real impact in property law with a firm that invests in its people. The successful candidate will join a respected team in Leatherhead and help shape the future of the practice.
The firm is a well-established law practice with over 20 years of success, delivering tailored legal services to individuals and small businesses. Accredited by CQS, WIQs and Lexcel, it provides access to leading resources such as Practical Law and Lexis Nexis. The Senior Residential and Commercial Property Solicitor will manage a varied caseload across residential and commercial property matters. They will advise clients, oversee transactions, and support the development of junior colleagues while contributing to the strategic growth of the firm.
Your day-to-day will include:

  • Opening, advising, progressing and closing client matters, including legal research and time recording
  • Managing property transactions such as leasehold enfranchisement, commercial leases, and development agreements
  • Delegating and supervising fee-earning work, updating costs information, and maintaining precedents
  • Networking and building professional relationships to attract new enquiries


We're Looking For:

  • A qualified solicitor with strong experience in residential and commercial property law
  • Knowledge of SDLT, VAT, and property-related compliance
  • Ability to manage complex transactions and mentor junior team members
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development

  • Salary: £40,000-£55,000 per year (negotiable after 12 months based on performance)

  • Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours), with flexibility for 30 hours/week or non-standard office hours
