About the Team:
The London Tax team is widely recognised for its strength and depth, advising across corporate tax, finance tax, real estate tax, funds tax, and indirect tax. Globally, the tax practice works closely with the firm's renowned private funds team in the UK, US, Europe, and APAC. This international reach means the work is consistently cross-border and high profile, offering exposure to some of the most innovative transactions in the market.

The Role:
The firm is looking for a Senior Associate / Director with strong funds tax experience to join this ambitious and highly regarded group. The role involves advising many of the world's leading fund managers across the full spectrum of funds-related transactions, including:

  • Fundraisings across all strategies
  • Carry structuring
  • Co-investments
  • Continuation vehicles
  • LP portfolio sales
  • GP M&A
  • LP-side advisory

Working alongside recognised leaders in their field, the successful candidate will gain direct client exposure, contribute to headline matters, and collaborate closely with colleagues across international offices.

  • Excellent technical legal skills and a strong academic background
  • Proven experience in funds tax, most likely gained at a leading City or international firm
  • Commercially minded with the ability to provide pragmatic solutions
