The Role: Residential Conveyancer

You will manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, providing a high standard of client care and maintaining strong relationships with clients, agents and introducers.

This position offers a combination of fee earning, business development and client relationship management, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term professional relationships and contributing to the growth of a successful property team.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a full caseload of residential property matters, including:
  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Re-mortgages and transfers of equity
  • New build transactions
  • Shared ownership and other residential property matters
• Handling transactions from instruction through to post-completion
• Providing clear and practical advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process
• Liaising with estate agents, mortgage lenders and other third parties
• Developing relationships with local referrers and professional contacts
• Supporting the continued growth and profile of the residential property department

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or experienced Fee Earner
• Around 2+ years' experience handling residential conveyancing matters
• Ability to manage a caseload independently
• Strong communication and client care skills
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
