This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor, legal executive or licensed conveyancer looking to join a progressive firm that genuinely values work-life balance and professional development. Unlike many conveyancing positions, this role comes with no individual caseload billing requirement, allowing you to focus on delivering an exceptional client experience whilst contributing to the continued success of a thriving property department. The successful candidate will work closely with an experienced team handling a broad range of residential property matters while benefiting from a flexible hybrid working arrangement.
The Firm Our client is a respected regional law firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services across Oxfordshire and the wider Thames Valley. The firm prides itself on its collaborative culture, supportive leadership team and commitment to investing in its people. The Residential Property department continues to attract a steady flow of quality work from individuals, families, investors and property professionals. Lawyers within the team benefit from excellent administrative support, modern systems and an environment that encourages long-term career development without the pressures often associated with high-volume conveyancing practices.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
- Providing practical, commercially focused advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, estate agents and professional referrers.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Supporting the continued growth and success of the Residential Property department.
- Maintaining high standards of client care and regulatory compliance.
You Will Likely Have:
- A minimum of 5 years' PQE within Residential Property and Conveyancing.
- Experience handling a broad range of residential conveyancing transactions.
- Strong client relationship and communication skills.
- A commercial and proactive approach to legal practice.
- The ability to work independently whilst contributing positively to a team environment.
- A desire to join a firm that offers genuine flexibility, support and long-term career prospects.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded Oxfordshire firm offering high-quality work, hybrid working, annual bonus potential and a refreshing absence of individual caseload targets. The successful candidate will enjoy a supportive working environment, excellent work-life balance and the opportunity to build a long-term career within a thriving Residential Property team.
