The Opportunity A highly regarded and Legal 500 recognised law firm is seeking an experienced Head of Residential Property to lead and develop its successful Residential Property practice based in Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Property Lawyer looking to take on a strategic leadership position within a progressive and people-focused firm. The successful candidate will oversee a Residential Property team, manage a high-quality caseload and play a key role in driving the continued growth and success of the department. Working alongside senior leadership, you will have the opportunity to shape the future direction of the team, mentor and develop junior lawyers and strengthen the firm's position within the Oxfordshire property market.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Leading and developing the Residential Property team.
• Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and support staff.
• Driving business development initiatives and helping to grow the department.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, estate agents and professional referrers.
• Ensuring exceptional client service and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Contributing to the wider strategic growth of the firm.

You will likely have:

• Significant experience within Residential Property and Conveyancing.
• A proven track record of managing a successful conveyancing caseload.
• Previous supervisory, management or team leadership experience.
• Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent technical knowledge and commercial awareness.
• Strong communication, organisational and leadership abilities.
• A proactive and collaborative approach with a desire to contribute to the long-term success of the firm.
