The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Associate Employment Solicitor to join a highly regarded and top-ranked Employment team based in Oxford. This position offers the chance to work within one of the leading employment law practices in the Thames Valley and South Coast regions, advising a broad range of national and international clients across the public, private and third sectors. The successful candidate will handle a varied and high-quality caseload spanning both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, whilst playing an active role in the continued growth and development of the practice. • Managing a varied mix of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, primarily advising employer clients.
• Providing strategic employment advice, supporting employment disputes, corporate transactions and day-to-day HR issues.
• Acting for a diverse client base including private businesses, public sector organisations and third sector bodies.
• Delivering client training, seminars and webinars while contributing articles and legal updates.
• Supporting partners with the supervision, mentoring and development of junior members of the team.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships while actively participating in business development initiatives.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm's wider Employment, Immigration and Pensions teams.

You will likely have:

• Strong employment law experience gained within a recognised Employment team.
• Experience handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters for employer clients.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, technical research and advisory skills.
• A commercial and pragmatic approach to client service.
• Strong business development experience with a track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
• Excellent communication and matter management skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of your own matters.
• A genuine enthusiasm for employment law and a desire to continue developing your expertise within a leading practice.
