A ranked law firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer to join its growing Residential Property team in Chelmsford.

You will play a key role in the continued growth of the Chelmsford office while handling a varied and high-quality residential conveyancing caseload.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Managing a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
• Advising clients on freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and new build transactions.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, estate agents and other professional referrers.
• Supporting the growth of the Residential Property team and wider office.
• Ensuring compliance with SRA and CQS requirements.
• Assisting with the mentoring and development of junior team members where appropriate.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Strong client care and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, agents and professional referrers.
• Commercially minded, organised and motivated to contribute to the continued growth and success of a busy Residential Property team.
