Private Client Solicitor

Location: Poole
Experience: 1-4 PQE
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Base Salary: £45,000-£60,000 DOE

A well-established and growing law firm is seeking a Probate Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its established Private Client team in Poole.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative Private Client environment, with a varied caseload and strong opportunities for progression.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of probate and estate administration matters from initial instruction through to completion, including:

• Applications for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration
• Full estate administration
• Advising executors, administrators, trustees and beneficiaries
• Collection and distribution of estate assets
• Preparation of estate accounts and associated documentation
• Advising on Inheritance Tax and related probate matters
• Liaising with HMRC, financial institutions and other professional advisers
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

You will have responsibility for progressing your own matters while working closely with colleagues across the wider Private Client team.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
• 1-4 years' PQE, or equivalent relevant experience
• Strong experience in probate and estate administration
• Confident managing your own caseload
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Proactive, personable and commercially aware
• Committed to delivering a high standard of service
