Private Client Solicitor (2+ PQE) | York

Salary: Competitive
A Tier 1 Legal 500-ranked law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join its established and highly regarded team in York.
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years' PQE, although applications are encouraged from Solicitors with 2+ years' PQE who can demonstrate substantial prior fee-earning experience within Private Client, such as working as a Paralegal before qualification.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of Private Client matters, including:

• Wills and estate planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Trusts and wealth preservation
• Court of Protection matters
• Inheritance Tax and succession planning

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE
• Strong Private Client experience, ideally gained within a fee-earning role prior to qualification
• Ability to manage your own caseload with confidence
• Strong client care and relationship-building skills
• STEP qualification or a willingness to work towards it is advantageous
