The Role

You will manage a broad and varied private client caseload, including:

• Wills and succession planning.
• Probate and estate administration.
• Trust creation, administration, and taxation.
• Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs).
• Court of Protection matters.
• Deputyship applications and ongoing management.
• Estate planning and wealth preservation.
• Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning.
• Capital Gains Tax (CGT) advice in relation to estates and trusts.
• Lifetime gifting strategies.
• Agricultural and Business Property Relief advice.
• High-value and complex estates.
• Trust and estate disputes support where required.
• Advice for elderly and vulnerable clients.
• Cross-generational wealth planning.
• Advising executors, trustees, attorneys, and beneficiaries.
• Tax-efficient succession planning for business owners and high-net-worth individuals.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE in Private Client law.
• Strong experience across Wills, Probate, Trusts, Estate Administration, LPAs, and Tax Planning.
• Comfortable managing complex matters with minimal supervision.
• Experience working with high-net-worth individuals would be advantageous.
• STEP qualification or progress towards STEP would be beneficial, although not essential.
• Excellent technical drafting and advisory skills.
• Strong client care and relationship management abilities.
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to business development.
• Keen to contribute to the ongoing success and growth of a leading Private Client team.
