Senior Associate - Wills, Estate & Tax Planning
Location: Kent
Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a driven and ambitious Senior Associate to join a Legal 500 ranked regional law firm in Kent within their Wills, Estate & Tax Planning team. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Private Client lawyer with a clear ambition to progress toward partnership in a supportive and well-established firm.

This highly respected, long-established regional law firm is renowned for its exceptional client service. The Estates, Tax & Succession team advises individuals, families, and business owners on complex estate planning, tax structuring, and succession matters.

The Role
As a Senior Associate, you will handle a varied and high-quality caseload, working with clients such as high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, landowners, and trustees. Typical matters include:

  • Estate and inheritance tax planning

  • Drafting and advising on Wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney

  • Lifetime giving and philanthropic planning

  • Cross-border estate issues

You will work closely with senior colleagues, gaining exposure to strategic aspects of practice management and client relationship development, while receiving the support needed to build a clear pathway toward partnership.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor or legal executive with strong Private Client experience

  • STEP qualification (or working towards) preferred

  • Proven ability to manage and develop client relationships

  • Excellent technical expertise and commercial awareness

  • Collaborative mindset with ambition to progress into a senior leadership role
