Position Available: PCB Technologist
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: Up to £40,000 + Bonus
Experience needed: We're seeking an electronics-focused technologist with a solid understanding of PCB design, manufacture, and assembly, and an interest in developing new technologies within a collaborative engineering environment.

About the role:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a PCB Technologist to join our Electronic Engineering function, supporting UK and international programmes across PCB and circuit card assembly technologies.

Working alongside experienced technical specialists, you'll help develop, evaluate, and standardise PCB manufacturing and assembly processes to ensure reliable performance in demanding environments. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams, manufacturing centres, and external suppliers, with some national and international travel.

This position offers a rare opportunity to build a broad and in-depth technical skill set within a highly supportive engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and evaluation of new PCB and CCA processes and equipment
• Work with internal teams, manufacturing centres, and external suppliers to assess fabrication and assembly processes
• Develop understanding of materials, processes, and characteristics used in PCB manufacture
• Support the creation and adoption of technical standards and methodologies
• Participate in laboratory work and failure analysis at component and board level
