Information Security Support Analyst - 6 month contract - Government - SC / DV Clearance

I am working with a Government Department who are looking for an additional Information Security Support Analyst to join their team.

In this role, you will provide timely and efficient support for security-related incidents and queries, working closely with internal teams to analyse, resolve, and escalate issues as needed.

Due to the urgency and nature of the team, candidates who hold active SC / DV clearance will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1st and 2nd line support for Information Security incidents and requests.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot security issues, ensuring accurate and efficient resolution.
• Escalate complex problems to the appropriate teams promptly.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders throughout the process.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining security systems and processes to meet organisational standards.

• Previous experience in a 1st or 2nd line support role, ideally within an Information Security environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Familiarity with common security tools and technologies would be ideal.
