Senior Employment Lawyer - Remote (UK)

I'm working with a leading boutique employment practice known for being lean, highly skilled, and deliberately selective about the work it takes on a senior position - remote working.

The Role

You'll take ownership of complex, sensitive employment matters from day one. The work is strategic and often time‑critical, including:

• • Restructures & redundancy programmes - designing processes, drafting documentation, advising leadership on risk.

  • TUPE projects - due diligence, employee liability information, indemnities, and negotiation support.

  • Senior executive exits - settlement strategy, restrictive covenants, reputational considerations.

  • Contentious matters - running tribunal cases end‑to‑end, including pleadings, statements, disclosure and negotiation.

  • Real‑time HR support - disciplinary issues, grievances, whistleblowing, internal investigations.

Client Base

The practice works with a curated portfolio of clients ranging from:

• Scaling and mid‑market businesses

• Founders and leadership teams

• Senior executives dealing with exits, disputes, or contract negotiations.

• HR directors seeking confident guidance on sensitive matters.

The work is high‑quality, often high‑pressure, and always requires a lawyer who can balance legal risk with commercial reality.

Requirements

• 5+ PQE employment law experience, with a strong record advising employers and senior individuals.

• Robust contentious experience with the ability to run cases end‑to‑end with minimal oversight.

• Strong advisory capability i.e. restructures, TUPE, discrimination, whistleblowing, senior exits.

• Strong capabilities to run your own matters, prioritise effectively, and maintain high standards in a remote environment.
