Responsibilities
- Advise on a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, development projects and portfolio management
- Support institutional investors, developers, banks, quoted property companies, hotel groups, and corporate occupiers across the full property lifecycle
- Handle lease negotiations, renewals, rent reviews, and wider asset management and estate management matters
- Contribute to strategic advisory work and property-related disputes where required, working closely with partners and senior lawyers
- Manage matters independently with appropriate supervision, ensuring high-quality drafting, due diligence, and transactional delivery using standard real estate systems and Land Registry processes
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with approximately 2-4 years' PQE in commercial real estate or property law (commercial real estate solicitor or property lawyer background preferred)
- Strong experience in acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant work, and general commercial property transactions
- Exposure to development work, asset management, and complex real estate matters within a leading or full-service practice
- Confident managing files independently with excellent attention to detail and strong commercial judgement
- Experience working with institutional clients, investors, developers or similarly sophisticated counterparties is highly advantageous
