Our client is a leading US law firm with a top-ranked Tax practice. The team advises on strategic tax planning, structuring, and implementation issues associated with complex, cross-border transactions. They handle a wide range of matters involving significant tax issues from global and regional business transactions.
We are seeking an Associate to join their Corporate Tax team in London, focusing on transactional matters. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile, complex deals within a market-leading practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on tax aspects of corporate transactions, including cross-border structuring and implementation.
- Provide strategic tax planning and risk management advice to clients.
- Draft and review transaction documents and client communications with precision and clarity.
- Manage client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
- Take ownership of matters and demonstrate initiative in handling complex issues.
Candidate Profile
Experience: 2-5 years' post-qualification experience in a top-tier practice in the London market or a similar common law jurisdiction. Candidates with less or more experience will be considered on merit.
Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax law and transactional matters.
- Excellent written communication and drafting skills.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and handle significant responsibility.
