The Role: Residential Conveyancer
You will manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, providing a high standard of client care and maintaining strong relationships with clients, agents and introducers.
This position offers a combination of fee earning, business development and client relationship management, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term professional relationships and contributing to the growth of a successful property team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a full caseload of residential property matters, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Re-mortgages and transfers of equity
- New build transactions
- Shared ownership and other residential property matters
- Handling transactions from instruction through to post-completion
- Providing clear and practical advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process
- Liaising with estate agents, mortgage lenders and other third parties
- Developing relationships with local referrers and professional contacts
- Supporting the continued growth and profile of the residential property department
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or experienced Fee Earner
- Around 2+ years' experience handling residential conveyancing matters
- Ability to manage a caseload independently
- Strong communication and client care skills
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
