A leading national law firm is looking to appoint an ambitious Employment Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join its highly regarded Employment team in Southampton. The Role
You'll advise a diverse client base including household-name corporates, NHS Trusts, local authorities, and charities, across a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters. Your work will include:
* Employment tribunal litigation (including advocacy)
* General advisory and day-to-day HR support
* Business restructures, redundancies and TUPE
* Corporate support on transactions
* Client training and HR strategy input
* Contributing to legal updates, client briefings, and seminars
You'll work closely with senior lawyers and also be encouraged to take a leading role in business development, thought leadership, and mentoring junior team members.
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 3+ years' PQE in employment law
* Strong experience across contentious and advisory matters
* Excellent communication and drafting skills
* A commercial, pragmatic approach to problem-solving
* Confident in building relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
* Proactive in business development, networking, and marketing initiatives
* A team player who enjoys working collaboratively across a wider group
