My financial services client is seeking a Solutions Architect passionate about designing strategic, innovative, and cost-effective solutions that drive operational stability, regulatory compliance, and innovation. We are looking for demonstrable experience within Banking coupled with strong data and a solid understanding of cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to develop future-focused, cohesive designs for data reporting.
• Provide hands-on design and technical leadership for various projects.
• Work closely with Business and Technology teams to evaluate design options, ensuring robust recommendations.
• Govern project delivery to ensure alignment with agreed designs and assess the impact of changes.
• Facilitate design workshops and forums, involving developers, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
• Present and distribute designs for approval at formal review sessions.
• Conduct peer reviews and contribute to our technical communities.
• Provide design estimates for business case input.
• Support improvement initiatives to enhance our Solutions Design competency.

Ideal Experience and Skills:

• Proficiency with technologies like Messaging & Middleware, Microservices, Cloud, and Data Streaming.
• Proven expertise in solution architecture.
• Experience in both waterfall and agile development environments.
• Strong understanding of design governance and stakeholder collaboration.
• Skilled in managing design risks and issues and influencing senior leaders for optimal
• outcomes.
