Export control isn't box-ticking. It's about protecting national security while enabling responsible global trade.
We're supporting a leading defence organisation looking to appoint two Export Control Officers to join a growing compliance function. These roles sit at the heart of programme delivery, advising on UK and US export regulations across complex, cutting-edge technology projects.
If you enjoy working at the intersection of law, technology and geopolitics, this is a genuinely interesting opportunity.

You'll assess export risks, support licensing activity, maintain accurate audit records and advise stakeholders across engineering, commercial and programme teams.
This is a role where judgement matters. You'll be balancing commercial needs with regulatory responsibility on sensitive defence capability.

Experience in export control, trade compliance or regulatory governance
-
Strong understanding of UK Export Control regulations
-
Working knowledge of US ITAR and EAR (re-export, retransfer, US-origin content)

Degree education is advantageous but not essential.
