About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Resilience Manager to lead disaster recovery and operational resilience efforts on a leading goverment project. This is a critical role requiring expertise in AWS cloud resilience tools and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to implement best practices in disaster recovery and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and testing of disaster recovery and resilience strategies across the their platform.
• Utilize AWS Resiliency Hub, AWS Fault Injection Simulator, and AWS cloud backup/restore capabilities to ensure system availability and continuity.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify risks and ensure effective mitigation strategies.
• Drive the development of resilience frameworks, processes, and governance models.
• Conduct failure scenario testing and chaos engineering exercises to validate system robustness.
• Provide technical leadership and influence teams to adopt best practices for resilience and disaster recovery.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven expertise in AWS Resiliency Hub, AWS Fault Injection Simulator, and AWS cloud backup/restore technologies.
• Strong background in disaster recovery, operational resilience, and business continuity planning.
• Ability to design and execute resilience tests, including chaos engineering approaches.
• Experience leading and influencing technical and non-technical teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with large-scale public sector programs.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks for operational resilience.
