Residential Property Lawyer (2-5 PQE)

Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire

Salary: Competitive (DOE)

A modern and fast-growing law firm in Buckinghamshire is seeking a Residential Property Lawyer to join its friendly and professional team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a firm that combines high-quality work with a genuinely supportive and collaborative culture.

The Role

You will manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Remortgages
  • New build and shared ownership transactions
  • Transfers of equity
  • First registrations and assents
  • Help to Buy loan redemptions

The role involves full file management, including drafting contracts, handling enquiries, reporting to clients and lenders, exchange and completion, and post-completion matters. You will also ensure compliance with internal procedures and maintain accurate file management using a case management system.

Responsibilities

  • Manage files from opening through to closure with minimal supervision
  • Liaise with clients, agents, lenders, and third parties throughout transactions
  • Maintain high standards of client care and communication
  • Meet financial and performance targets
  • Contribute to business development and growth of the department

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with 2-5 years' experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing
  • Confident managing a varied caseload independently
  • Client-facing with excellent communication skills
  • IT literate and familiar with case management systems
  • Motivated to develop and progress your career
