A leading London firm is undergoing an exciting period of restructuring within its Residential Development department and is now seeking a talented Residential Development Solicitor to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor with strong experience in residential development work who wants to take on high-quality matters within a well-supported, collaborative environment.

The role sits within a team known for advising national developers, property investors, housebuilders, landowners, housing associations, and private clients on a broad range of residential development projects. As part of the team's strategic growth, the successful solicitor will help shape the next phase of its development offering.

The Role

You will work on a wide range of development matters including:

• Site acquisitions and disposals
• Plot sales and development set-ups
• Option agreements, overage, conditional contracts, and promotion agreements
• Land assembly and strategic land projects
• Reviewing titles, drafting reports, and managing due diligence
• Supporting partners with large-scale development transactions
• Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong experience in residential development law, ideally gained within a recognised real estate or development team
• Experience managing your own files with minimal supervision

• A proactive, commercial, solutions-driven approach
• The ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to support the wider team
• UK-qualified solicitor status (NQ-4 PQE considered, depending on experience)
