A well-established and highly regarded law firm in Essex is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its successful and growing team based in Chelmsford.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor to join a respected private client department with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal advice and exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities

• Managing a broad range of private client matters from instruction through to completion.
• Drafting Wills and advising on trust structures.
• Advising clients on Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) and Deputyship applications.
• Estate and trust administration.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and professional referrers, including IFAs and accountants.
• Supporting business development initiatives and networking activities.
• Delivering an exceptional standard of client care and professionalism.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• A minimum of 6 years' PQE (or equivalent experience) in private client law.
• Strong technical expertise across wills, probate, trusts, LPAs, and estate administration.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
• A proven ability to develop and maintain professional networks.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
• A proactive and commercial approach to client service and business development.
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
