This is a rare opportunity to lead complex, high-value cases within a Tier 1 Legal 500/Chambers-ranked environment, where your expertise will have a direct impact on clients and shape the direction of the team. You will enjoy real autonomy, contributing to strategy while mentoring and developing junior colleagues.

The Role

  • Take ownership of complex cases from initial instructions through to proceedings, including drafting strategic advice, reports, statements, and cost management documents.
  • Liaise directly with clients, experts, Counsel, and other parties, providing clear and considered guidance on high-profile claims.
  • Oversee case strategy, instruct and manage external experts, and handle disclosure and procedural matters.
  • Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals, offering feedback, guidance, and conducting appraisals.
  • Contribute to business development and thought leadership, including publishing articles, delivering presentations, and supporting the strategic direction of the team.

We're Looking For

  • Solicitors (NQ-4 PQE) with substantial experience in aviation, international injury, or complex personal injury litigation.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with experience managing teams and high-value caseloads.
  • Strong commercial awareness, financial management, and the ability to exercise strategic judgment across cases.
  • A collaborative, client-focused professional committed to developing both themselves and their team.

What's In It For You

  • Full-time, permanent London-based role with hybrid working options.
  • Competitive level salary with genuine autonomy to lead and influence cases.
  • Opportunity to work on landmark domestic and international litigation while mentoring and shaping a high-performing team.
  • Exposure to business development, strategic planning, and thought leadership within a Tier 1 Legal 500 / Chambers-ranked firm.
