Search are delighted to partner with an organisation based in Birmingham City Centre to recruit for a Management Accountant. The role will join an experienced finance team and report to the Financial Controller.

This is a permanent opportunity and study support is offered for ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.

This role is suitable to a candidate with strong management accounting skills ans analytical skills as well as technical accounting knowledge and strong attention to detail.

Other aspects include:

• Month end closure and balance sheet reconciliation for several companies.
• Journals, prepayments, and accruals.
• Help deliver strategy and goals to the wider business
• Yearend statutory accounts
• Financial analysis
• Month end accounts and board reporting
• P&L and BS reconciliations.

The successful candidate will need to:

• Have a passion for progression
• Good experience reporting to senior stakeholders and stakeholder management
• Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Have ability to meet multiple deadlines and work under pressure
• Be able to establish good working relationships in a cross-functional environment with excellent communication skills.
• Have a positive attitude, flexible approach, and a passion to learn
• Wanting to grow and develop and join a fast faced environment.

Salary is £38,000 - £45,00 with full study support plus excellent company benefits including generous holiday.

Hybrid working along with flexible start and finish times.
