Search are delighted to partner with a organisation based in Birmingham City Centre to recruit for a Management Accountant. The role will join a tenured finance team and report to the Head of Finance.

This is a permanent opportunity and study support is offered for ACCA, CIMA or ACA.

This role is suitable to a candidate with strong analytical skills as well as technical accounting knowledge and strong attention to detail.

Other aspects include:

• Month end closure and balance sheet reconciliation for 6 companies.
• Journals, prepayments and accruals.
• Help deliver strategy and goals to the wider business
• Year end statutory accounts
• Financial analysis
• Month end accounts and board reporting

The successful candidate will need to:

• Have excellent Excel skills
• Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good experience reporting to senior stakeholders
• Have ability to meet multiple deadlines and work under pressure
• Be able to establish good working relationships in a cross-functional environment with excellent communication skills.
• Have a positive attitude, flexible approach and a passion to learn
• Wanting to grow and develop and join a fast faced environment.

Salary is £37,500 - Full study support plus excellent company benefits including bonus.

Hybrid working along with flexible start and finish times. (2 days working from home)
