An established and highly respected London firm is looking for an experienced Private Client Legal Executive to join its growing onshore Private Client practice. This is a strong opportunity to work within a mature, well-supported team advising HNW individuals, families and estates on a wide range of matters.

You will manage a varied caseload that covers estate administration for both testate and intestate estates, complex probate matters, Wills, UK tax considerations, LPAs and trust work. The role offers regular exposure to high-value structures and close collaboration with colleagues across related departments. This is an excellent position for someone who enjoys technical work, high-quality clients and a steady flow of complex instructions.

This role is ideal for an FCILEx with a solid grounding in private client work and clear experience handling HNW estates. Candidates from City firms, well-regarded boutiques or strong regional practices with genuine HNW exposure are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end estate administration for testate and intestate matters involving high-value estates
• Drafting Wills, Trust Deeds, Tax Forms and related probate documentation
• Assisting with UK tax and estate planning including IHT and CGT
• Advising on the acquisition and disposal of UK assets
• Drafting LPAs and assisting with trust creation and administration
• Acting as a day-to-day point of contact for clients and supporting wider team matters
• Supporting business development and maintaining strong relationships with clients

Key Requirements

• FCILEx-qualified Legal Executive in England and Wales
• Strong private client experience with at least three years of relevant post-qualification experience equivalent
• Demonstrable experience working with HNW clients and high-value estates
• Confident understanding of intestacy, tax planning, trusts and estate administration
• STEP qualification is helpful but not essential
• Excellent drafting, communication and relationship-building skills
