Sales Engineer
Location: Hybrid in a New York office
Salary Expectations: Up to $270k OTE 70/30

I am working with a Series A funded Pre IPO CyberSecurity vendor. They have just secured their Series B and are now looking to double in growth this year. Having spent a few years focussed on R&D and building their product from scratch, they are now focussing on their GTM strategy and building their GTM team.
They have already brought on some big logos such as the New York Times, Bloomberg and several government agencies and they now want to transfer from a Founder-led sales model to a Sales Team model. So with this role, they are looking for the first Sales Engineer to get their hands dirty selling to customers whilst building a team beneath them. They are looking for someone who can be hands on for the first 6 months-1 year and then build a team.
Their ICP is Large Enterprise/Named customers across the US - so they are looking for someone that has strong experience selling to these customers and a good rollodex of CISOs to sell to. They are looking for a mature and seasoned seller who is focussed on relationship building.
This company has an impressive developer team who have built an utterly unique product - there isn't anything like this on the market and that is why they have been so successful already without a sales team behind them. So this is a strong opportunity to come in and build the next big disruptor in the Cyber space.
The ideal candidate would have:
- 10+ years experience in Enterprise Sales Engineeringat CyberSecurity vendors
- Experience as an early Sales Engineer rep in a company that can build a team and territory from scratch
- Experience selling to Large Enterprise customers and closing large 6 figure/7 figure deals at Cyber vendor
