What You'll Be Doing
As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, your core responsibilities will include:
System Administration: Providing end-to-end administration, maintenance, and support for our Windows Server environment, including Active Directory and Microsoft 365 services.
Security & Patching: Taking ownership of the security lifecycle, including regular patch management across all server and endpoint estates, ensuring compliance and vulnerability reduction.
Endpoint Management (Intune): Managing and securing all corporate endpoints (laptops, mobiles) using Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) for configuration, deployment, and policy enforcement.
Networking & Firewalls: Maintaining and troubleshooting core networking components (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi) and configuring/managing firewalls and other perimeter security devices.
Project Work: Assisting in the implementation of new infrastructure projects, upgrades, and migrations to improve resilience and security.
Support: Providing effective third-line support for complex infrastructure incidents and problem resolution.
What You'll Need to Bring
We are looking for a highly capable, hands-on engineer with:
Proven experience in an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
A strong generalist skillset across the Microsoft/Windows ecosystem (Server OS, Active Directory, Group Policy).
Solid experience with Microsoft Intune or other modern endpoint management tools.
Demonstrable knowledge of network fundamentals and experience configuring firewalls (e.g., policy creation, VPNs).
A genuine interest in security best practices, especially in relation to patching and system hardening.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.

Salary: Highly competitive base salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.
