The Opportunity A highly regarded and recognised Family team is seeking an ambitious Family Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' PQE to join its successful practice based in Southern Buckinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Family Lawyer looking to work on high-quality and complex matters within a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of family law matters, with particular exposure to high-net-worth financial remedy work and private children matters. Working alongside experienced specialists, you will have the opportunity to develop your own client base, build long-term client relationships and play a key role in the continued growth and success of the department.

The Family team is consistently recognised within the leading legal directories and is known for delivering exceptional client service and technical expertise. The department advises clients on the full spectrum of family law matters, including divorce, financial remedy proceedings, private children disputes, cohabitation disputes, nuptial agreements and protective injunctions. The team acts for a wide range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, and is recognised for handling sensitive and complex matters with care and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing a varied caseload of family law matters including divorce, financial remedy and private children work.
  • Advising clients on cohabitation disputes, separation agreements and nuptial agreements.
  • Handling matters involving non-molestation orders, occupation orders and related applications.
  • Working closely with clients to provide pragmatic, commercially aware and client-focused advice.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships and professional contacts.
  • Supporting the continued growth and development of the Family team.

You will likely have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' PQE within Family Law.
  • Experience managing your own caseload of divorce, financial remedy and children matters.
  • Strong technical knowledge and a client-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to your work.
